Triethylene glycol, TEG, or triglycol is a colourless odourless viscous liquid with molecular formula HOCH2CH2OCH2CH2OCH2CH2OH. It is also soluble in alcohols, acetone, acetic acid, glycerine and aldehydes. It is insoluble in oils, fat and hydrocarbons.
