Nickel (II) oxide black
Black nickel oxide, also known as nickel sesquioxide is produced by the controlled oxidation of high purity carbonyl nickel powder. It is nsoluble in water and soluble in acids. Black Nickel oxide is also known as Nickel sesquioxide. Nickel oxide is used in fuel cell electrodes, storage batteries, electronic circuit boards, electrical ceramics, and as a pigment for ceramics and glass.
