Natural Calcium Bentonite
Calcium Bentonite is another name for Calcium Montmorillonite. It is a Smectite class silicate, clay-mineral composite. It is a naturally existing clay that is made from geologic tectonic plate activity, volcanic action and river hydrolysis. Unlike other clays, only Smectites can absorb and adsorb. It is an expandable clay which is often referred to as a green swelling clay. Calcium bentonite is a useful adsorbent of ions in solution, as well as fats and oils.
This calcium bentonite is supplied as a granular product with good handling properties and low dust content. It is used in foundry, metallurgy, well drilling slurry, oil, agriculture, chemical industry, environmental protection, zoology construction, ecological construction, building, paper making, textile, printing & dyeing, ceramics, etc.
