Returns Policy
Our Policy
Any goods to be returned to R&D Laboratories Ltd. (under the trading name "Mistral") must first be authorised in advance by our Sales Team. Please see list below for items which will not be accepted:
- Chemical containers which have been opened since leaving our Warehouse
- Products which have been specifically sourced for a customer's order (i.e. from a third party supplier)
- Items with either an expired shelf life, or a limited shelf life which makes the product unsuitable for resale
- Mistral branded products which have been supplied by a third party supplier
Formal notice of loss, damage or shortage of goods shall be made by the buyer in writing direct to the seller within 10 days and no claims will be entertained unless this condition has been met.
These items will be exchanged with suitable replacements where possible, else a refund will be offered.
Any products that do not meet the stated specification would have to be reported within 28 days of receiving the delivery. Returns that do not fall within the above categories, but are in a fit condition for resale, would be subject to a handling and restocking charge of 20% of the value of the goods plus the original postage cost. Where posting and packaging have been included in the original price, returns meeting the above condition would be subject to a charge of 35% of the total amount paid.
Any returns to R&D Laboratories Ltd. must be sent by a registered delivery service. The buyer acknowledges responsibility for any postage charges incurred in the return of goods. ADR regulations must be observed when shipping hazardous chemicals.
