For Salmon fishing, this is the only permanent dye for turning prawns and other white bait purple. Makes the bait more visible and alluring to salmon. Make a 1% solution by dissolving 10g per litre of water.
For dying of bait - soak the bait in the solution for a few minutes until bait becomes purple. Remove from solution and allow to dry.
