Bossy Bottled Absolute Fragrance Oil
Bossy Bottled Absolute fragrance oil is a dark, rich, woody-leathery fragrance with a smoky, resinous character. The opening of leather and incense gives it a textured, smoky and sophisticated first impression. Patchouli and myrrh deepen the middle with earthy, balsamic and resinous warmth, while cedarwood and davana soften the base with dry woods and a subtly fruity, aromatic sweetness. Overall, it is leathery • smoky • woody • resinous • warm • earthy • slightly fruity, with a strong evening or autumn/winter feel.
It can be used for several things, depending on what the particular fragrance oil is formulated and certified for:
- Perfume/body oil: diluted into a suitable carrier oil or Perfumers alcohol.
- Candles and wax melts:
- Reed diffusers and room fragrance: to give a room a deep, upscale, masculine-leaning scent.
- Soaps, lotions and other cosmetics:
- Home-fragrance products: such as scented sachets or certain fragrance bases

Solubility & formulating notes
-
For clear alcohol sprays, do a small solubility test, then chill (4–8 °C) and filter (≈0.45 µm).
-
In wax: cure candles 24–72 h (soy often benefits from longer), test different wicks for hot throw.
-
In water-based products, use an appropriate solubiliser (e.g., polysorbate-20 or a commercial fragrance solubiliser).
