Colour Me Rouge — Inspired by the well known Rouge 540, a luminous oriental woody floral fragrance opening with breezy jasmine facets and radiant saffron boost the ambery mineral notes all resting upon woody tones of freshly-cut cedar. 100% concentrate.

Fragrance Profile

1. Top Notes:  Saffron and Jasmine

2. Heart Notes: Amberwood, Ambergris and fresh florals

3. Base Notes: Fir Resin, Cedar, Sugar, Amber and Oakmoss.

Applications

Fine fragrance

• EDP/Parfum in perfumer’s alcohol: ~10–25% fragrance oil.

• Body mists/sprays: ~3–8%.

• Tip: let it macerate 1–4 weeks, chill, and filter for clarity.

Personal care (skin-safe, leave-on/rinse-off)*

• Body lotion/cream/butter: 0.5–2% (up to ~3% if allowed).

• Liquid soap / shower gel / shampoo: 0.5–3%.

• Bar soap / syndet bars: 1–4%.

• Bath bombs / salts: 0.5–2%.

Home fragrance (non–skin contact)

• Candles (soy/paraffin/coco blends): 6–10% of wax (test 6, 8, 10%).

• Wax melts: 8–12% (watch for sweating; adjust down if needed).

• Reed diffusers (in base like Augeo): 15–25% fragrance oil.

• Room/linen sprays (alcohol or water + solubiliser): 1–5%

• Car diffuser/vent clips / aroma beads: 10–30% depending on substrate absorption.

Solubility & formulating notes

• For clear alcohol sprays, do a small solubility test, then chill (4–8 °C) and filter (≈0.45 µm).

• In wax: cure candles 24–72 h (soy often benefits from longer), test different wicks for hot throw.

• In water-based products, use an appropriate solubiliser (e.g., polysorbate-20 or a commercial fragrance solubiliser).
