We are pleased to be able to offer free delivery on all orders to customers in the Mainland UK and Ireland.
We try to keep our delivery charges as fair and easy to understand as possible for all our customers, and the simplest way to avoid nasty surprises at checkout is to offer free delivery on all items.
Most of our goods are despatched with DPD's 48 Hour service and some are sent with Parcelforce 48 Hour. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information via email to allow you to easily track it's progress. If you also provide us with a mobile number in your delivery address we will ask our couriers to provide SMS updates on your order for an even more efficient service.
While we only sell to businesses, tradespeople and professional users, we do not place any particular restrictions on delivery addresses and our couriers can deliver to any address in the mainland UK and Ireland. You can enter your delivery address at checkout and you are free to choose a delivery address which is different from your billing address.
We would ask that if possible you provide some sort of phone number with every address / order so that we or our couriers can contact you if any issues occur.
As much as we hate to admit it, we know that deliveries don't always go exactly as planned and couriers do occasionally lose or damage parcels. We pack our items as robustly as possible in heavy duty boxes and we are always looking to improve on our packaging systems. However, if you encounter any problems with your delivery, please let us know through the Contact Us page and our staff will do their best to sort it for you as quickly as possible. Your feedback is welcomed.
If you are simply trying to find out where your parcel is, or if you have been left a missed-delivery card, we do recommend that you contact the courier company directly using the tracking information provided in your 'Notification of Despatch' email.
If you have mis-entered your delivery details or need to make an address change you can contact us to do so. However please note that if we have already despatched your parcel then we cannot generally redirect it until after the first delivery attempt has failed, so please get in touch with us as quickly as possible.
We try our best to meet the needs of all our customers and sometimes this means getting goods out to a deadline. As stated above, our default service to the UK mainland is 48 Hours and delivery to Northern Ireland / Republic of Ireland is usually next working day after despatch. If you let us know when ordering, we will try to get your goods delivered to you by the necessary date. Please note that it is not possible to despatch any items on the day of ordering if the order is placed after 3pm.
In some time-sensitive cases we can despatch goods on a 24 Hour service with Parcelforce. Since these items have to travel by plane, this service is restricted to non-hazardous goods only. There will be a surcharge per parcel sent. Please contact us by telephone if you need to use this service.
While delivery is also free on barrels and pallets, our freight delivery companies will expect you to be able to lift these items off the lorry yourself at the destination point. If you do need any special services to help with this such as a tail-lift, please let us know when ordering. In some instances additional services may incur a surcharge.
We think it important that all deliveries should be carried out safely and in-line with UK transport regulations. We partner with couriers who can transport goods in a compliant way and, unlike some online sellers, we will not send hazardous goods by post or unmarked. We package most goods up to 25Kg in-line with Limited Quantity regulations for courier delivery.
We transport larger quantities (pallets, barrels etc) using our Hazardous Freight partners who can safely delivery throughout the UK and Ireland. Currently, there is only one sailing to the Mainland UK which occurs every Friday and so all bulk hazardous deliveries for the mainland will be dispatched on a Thursday. Please bear this in mind when ordering, especially if your delivery is time-sensitive. If your order will be subjected to a delay because of this we will let you know in advance.
Regretfully, and due to the hazardous nature of many of our items, we are unable to deliver to off-shore locations. These include (but are not limited to):
Orders placed for these locations and not previously cleared by us will unfortunately be cancelled. If you have a specific item that you need and live within one of these areas, feel free to contact us and discuss whether we can do anything for you, but do note that surcharges will apply.
